Abbey Scaffolding were tasked with erecting the initial Scaffold to form a shore providing support to the building walls after extensive fire damage. This was erected under fully controlled conditions by our Licensed Asbestos scaffolding division due to the high levels of contamination within the building. This allowed the licensed Asbestos contractor to safely decontaminate the building without the risk of the walls collapsing in on themselves once the roof trusses were removed. Once the building was made safe, we returned to site for the second phase of the works by installing a 770m2 Temporary roof covering over the building to allow remediation works to progress through the winter months, eliminating the risk of further damage to the building.
