Bath

A Refurbishment project on Two listed buildings at Royal High School, Bath, for Beard Construction. This project required all scaffold lifts to be fully boarded, including Loading Bays, Stair towers and extensive complex Beamwork with temporary roofs installed on both the Main Building and Memorial Hall.

A team of 12 trained operatives constructed the Layher Roof System on the ground, and using a crane the roof was lifted into position onto the scaffold.

This Project was especially challenging due to the delicate nature of the buildings and the work being carried out during term time, therefore added responsibility to ensure no disruption to staff and pupils at the school.

The job was extremely successful and complete on time which secured Phases 2 and 3 for both Abbey Scaffolding and the Main Contractor. Abbey Scaffolding always aim to work closely with the Main Contractor at all stages to ensure the client is completely satisfied on completion.
